Bill Harris
is a
longtime Multnomah County Democratic Party activist, currently serving as a Precinct Committee
Person in House District 36 and
as one of our delegates to the State Central Committee.
Bill is a tireless fighter for the rights of the commons. He is an active leader in the fight
for the concept that corporations are not
people and that money is not speech. As a PCP he has for many years been a reliable presence at meetings to plan, coordinate, and lead our slate card efforts.
In fact, it was with his desire to inform neighbors in his area about our work as a party and as PCPs that our first efforts to deliver slate cards began,
well before the rest of the county recognized the value of slate cards. Multnomah County Democratic Party appreciates his
service.
